FamilySport is where the games begin!

With more than 60,000 articles on one webshop, the Dutch online company Family Sport needed a system that could handle integration with the system that handled and controlled their stock information.

The webshop solution used to be custom-made by Dynamicweb partner Bluedesk because no standard CMS-system was available which could fulfill the needs of FamilySport.

Since Bluedesk already had experience with the highly modular content management solutions of Dynamicweb they took a closer look at the eCommerce solutions offered by Dynamicweb.

Based on the requirements of FamilySport and the knowledge of building the custom-made webshop solution, Bluedesk offered FamilySport to use Dynamicweb eCommerce as the ideal solution. Not only did the new eCommerce solution offer every basic functionality required by FamilySport, it was also capable of easy exchange ofinformation with Microsoft Dynamics.

A dynamic and user-friendly place to shop

One of the strong sides of the eCommerce Extended solution is the backend. It offers all the functionality required for managing a powerful webshop - for instance a very comprehensive catalogue in which all items can be managed on various levels.

But the frontend also presents an excellent image to the customers. It has a professional design and all articles have thumbnails and detailed graphics - and a good description. It offers services like regular discounts, a newsletter, membership discount, payment and delivery services, which is great for the variety of customers who use FamilySport.

The clever integration behind the webshop also shows on the frontend, where no articles with less than 2 items in stock are shown in the webshop. For instance this means that no customers goes away unsatisfied because their chosen product didn't come in their size!

	Within a short period of time Bluedesk was able to convert a tailor-made solution into their first highly manageable modular Dynamicweb eCommerce solution, which enables FamilySport to offer more then 60.000 items in their webshop. With DynamicWeb eCommerce FamilySport has a solution prepared for todays and future needs!
