Control updates to your website by assigning user roles and creating workflows

The module Workflow enables you to assign roles to individual users. You can also create rules in order to control workflows and procedures. This allows you to control "who does what" on your website which greatly facilitates consistency and uniformity.
 

Dynamicweb Workflow together with Dynamicweb Version Control automatically creates an audit trail of all processes in the workflow. And while a page is being updated, two versions of it exist, a public one, and one which has not been verified. From the moment that the page has gone through the workflow, the old page is deactivated, and Dynamicweb Workflow publishes the newest version.

Create versions of web pages

The module Version Control lets you create version numbers when you update web pages on your website. Thus, it is easy for you to control which version of a web page that is available on your website. Moreover, you can see and insert former versions of the web page which helps to eliminate the risk of misinformation and unintentional deletion of information.

Maintain an overview of updates to your solution

Audit enables daily users of the system to get an overview of recent updates to the website. This eases the administration of your website considerably as it becomes easier to see changes. In practice, this means that Audit adds two new functions to the module Dynamicweb Users, Extended. The first function enables you to see who has made which changes where and when in the administrative part. The second function enables users of your solution to see which pages that were last updated which helps to give your visitors a fast and clear overview of the development of your web solution.

Maintain information regarding your employees from a central location

Dynamicweb enables you to gather and maintain information regarding your employees directly in Dynamicweb. It is possible to assign an employee to one or more departments, and you can also assign various competencies to your employees. Furthermore, Dynamicweb can be integrated with other systems containing employee information (CRM systems etc) by using the webservice standard.
