The principal task for Anthon Berg's new website is to support and enhance the innovative product universe that was recently launched under the alluring title ”SENSE IT”. In order to re-launch the 124 year old Anthon Berg brand as a part of a modern life style, you would have to appeal to all the senses. Even with a very tight deadline and a wish for three accessible languages the website never suffered from any compromises in quality.


Complete website in just 2 ½ weeks
Only a few weeks to go until the official launch date. But at chocolate giant Toms, the company behind Anthon Berg, the people are not worried. The web editors only have to concentrate on adding content to the new online universe. Everything from implementation, to layout and FLASH is handled by their certified Dynamicweb Partner. The entire process only takes a little more than two weeks - and amazing but true story!

The entire process was able to be completed in a very short time, because the website is based entirely on standard software and functionality from Toms's existsing Dynamicweb Portal solution. This solution then renders expensive and time-consuming special programming superfluous.

 

The modular scalability of Dynamicweb CMS has made it possible to create versions of the website in other languages and as Anthon Berg expands to new markets, more language versions can be added. The fact that all Tom's sub brands have a Dynamicweb CMS solution has made it possible to keep the implementation period as short as possible as well as making it easier on the web editors since they were already familiar with Dynamicweb and needed very little training.
 

The result is a website emphasized on giving the visitor a virtual sample of på Anthon Berg's products. Website responsible Camilla Thomsen elaborates on the intensive process that the Anthon Berg team has been through: 

The project of the new Anthon Berg site was limited in the time available, but a close and very productive cooperation with our Dynamicweb partner succeeded in a live website just as planned - and after only 2 ½ weeks! Anthon Berg now has its very own exclusive website in tune with the new modern product universe and the high end strategy. The layout is far from the design of www.Toms.dk  but has the exact same template setup! It's amazing how colours, beautiful images and little extra features can make such a big difference.
