“The best Danish kitchen”

Nowadays, the kitchen is used for many other purposes than for cooking. In many homes, it has become the place that we spend most of our time. Therefore, when JKE Design was established in 1970, the ambition of the company was to create “the best Danish kitchen”.

Today, almost forty years later, the ambition has not changed. To present their many kitchen and bath solutions in the best way, a new website focusing on branding and design was launched. 
 

Balancing aesthetics and sales

The Dynamicweb Solution Partner Mediegruppen was assigned to design and implement the new site of JKE Design which is based on Dynamicweb CMS.

The strategy was to create a site where aesthetics, design and branding would come together in the best way possible.

Peter Larsen, CEO of Mediegruppen, is very satisfied with the result – especially with the fact that the site has both great functionality and an inviting design:

From branding to sales – much easier

Most websites do not age with grace. For the previous website of JKE Design, this was also the case. Being almost six years old, time had taken its toll on the design and functions of the site. Customers began asking for a more vibrant website with more inspiring pictures of the products.

With Dynamicweb CMS, it was not a problem to satisfy these needs. The system has plenty of options that can be used to create a dynamic site. For JKE Design, this means that they now have much better options to show their many products and solutions to their customers and distributors.

To make it easier for customers to contact the distributers, a special booking function has been created in the module Dynamicweb Forms, allowing customers to book a meeting with a distributor. Annete Bjerg, Head of Communication for JKE Design, is very happy with the many new features of the site and highlights the booking function:

Previously, our site was very static. Now, it is much easier to use Flash, upload film clips and create more language layers, etc. In particular, our distributors are very fond of the booking function allowing the customers to book a meeting with them.
