When Mindset, a larger Swedish business training provider, wanted to use their website in a more strategic way, they found their old web solution lacking.

Their previous website was built in-house and it wasn’t dynamic in the way they needed. This made it hard to keep the content up-to-date. The consequence of that was that their old website became outdated.

What Mindset was actually missing was tools to target their online marketing towards relevant groups through for example search engine optimization. They wanted to be able to measure their online initiatives, to make sure that they kept steering in the right direction and the Statistics module in Dynamicweb along with the excellent search engine optimization options gave Mindset just what they needed!

And even though the web solution is still pretty new they are already experiencing a better ranking in the search engines and the number of visitors to their new website have increased. This is a result of being able to update their content more frequently, the use of user-friendly URLs and page titles in combination with the relevant use of meta content. All standard functionality in Dynamicweb CMS.

The basic idea behind the new website was to illustrate just how comprehensive the Mindset range of services are - that they can handled an internal training programme from A to Z but also offer specific courses and training for individuals within a particular company.

At the same time Mindset wanted the new website to reflect their own mindset and try to attract more companies in need of e-learning, training tools and services.

Room for Integration

In order to save time and resources Mindset integrated their Dynamicweb solution with their own ERP system, APEX. The integration was developed through the excellent API of the Dynamicweb eCommerce, which Mindset use to display their training courses. They still maintain and handle all the information about their courses in APEX and automatically the information is published in the eCommerce. This way, Mindset didn't have to start maintaining the information in two systems, but could keep using the one they were already so familiar with!
