Brand Farm A/S (Ltd.) saw the light of day in 2002 and today, the company’s design products are distributed in more than 250 stores in both Europe and the USA.


One of the founders, Charlotte Eskildsen, was appointed “Rising Star” by the Danish business magazine Berlingske Tidendes Nyhedsmagasin in 2005.
 

Based on dynamism and innovation

To support their company, Brand Farm A/S wanted to develop a website which was able to display the exact dynamism and innovation which they experience in their everyday life. Thus, they turned to Communikanten which was given the task of developing their new website.

From design to implementation

The website is based on a Dynamicweb Portal solution, and the website actually handles two separate sub-websites, i.e. Designer’s Remix Collection and Soaked in Luxury which addresses two different segments. Thus, it is quite natural to separate these two websites. However, as the two websites use a common platform for their individual websites, it is extremely easy to share information between them, and, not least, it is much easier for Brand Farm to maintain.

 

The company designs approx. 16 new collections each year, and it is vital that these collections reach the company’s distributors as quickly as possible. Thus, an extranet was developed where the distributors can log in and view the latest collections on-line, and moreover, they are able to order products on-line.

 

We now have a website available where it is possible to follow the latest developments within our company, for example through on-line fashion shows, collection displays and the option of ordering our products on-line. These elements assist us in profiling our products towards our external environment”, says Charlotte Eskildsen from Brand Farm A/S.

 

Moreover, the extranet is used as an internal communication tool by the company’s own employees as they are able to put together newsletters, individual mails etc. for the distributors which contain descriptions and images of the latest collections. Subsequently, the individual distributors are able to log in and order the products that they find relevant for their exact store.

 

In addition, the Soaked in Luxury solution uses the Dealer Locator module to give their visitors a quick overview of their international distributors. A global map is displayed to the visitors where the distributors are pointed out. By clicking a distributor on the map, visitors are able to view the distributor’s contact information.

 

Thus, their new website provides Brand Farm A/S with a tool which can assist them in maintaining the dynamism and innovation which has come to characterize the company. Moreover, their new tool can help them communicate these values to the world!

Brand Farm A/S in brief

Brand Farm A/S was founded by Charlotte Eskildsen and Niels Eskildsen in 2002. In 2005, Charlotte Eskildsen was, at an age of 31, appointed “Rising Star” by the Danish Business magazine Berlingske Tidendes Nyhedsmagasine - despite her young age.

 

Brand Farm A/S consists of a dedicated team which values all the positive aspects of life. A value which is reflected in the company’s many collections. This positive perspective on work and life in general has resulted in a rapid growth for the company as their designer clothes are distributed to more than 250 stores in both Europe and the USA.
